Do the hardware shops on Hydra still sell powder rat poison without recording the name of the person who is using it? My beloved cat Lizzy was killed because she got rat poison on her fur and ingested it when she was grooming herself. I dont think she was intentionally poisoned - simply that she had wandered through a place where it had been put down. I think that whoever had used the poison, probably wasnt aware of how it works. If it is being sold on the island, perhaps any purchases should be registered/restricted and the person buying it made aware of the danger that incorrect use can cause. At the end of the day though, rats are a problem and people do need to buy poison to keep rats at bay. I know from person experience how awful it is to loose cats but having rats is difficult to live with to.
