It was nothing but a pressure tactic to try to get them to confess or to isolate Duffy from the other two in case they were working together. They knew they had no legal leg to stand on, but went for it anyway. It is clear that Carignan made no special deal offer to Duffy, but I am wondering whether he approached Wallin. But now that it appears there might not be any way to force a successful vote on this before the Convention, and it is clear that either of these 3 would take a suspension to Court thus giving this more legs (and taking timing issues out of the hands of the PMO), and especially considering the legs this story would have if the Court rescinded the suspension and reinstated the Embattled 3 would be huge... Carignan now wants a compromise. LMAO! Of course the base is likely upset about this move too, and the Civil War being lead by Goldring, Plett, and Segal is hurting them big time. Were I Duffy, Wallin, or Brazeau... Id tell them to go take a long walk off a short pier (Well, Brazeau kind of did that by exposing Carignan). Theyve got nothing to lose and everything to gain here. Soon enough well be talking about the fact Carignan received interesting donations from 17 members of the same family in his failed bid to become an MP.
