Do you ever feel like God is Missing in Action (M.I.A)? Like Hes hard to reach during the very times when you need Him most? Have you ever wondered if the Lord is actually avoiding you during your times of crisis? If He even cares at all about what you are going through? The Psalmist asked, Why, Lord, do you stand far off? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble? (Psalm 10:1) God isnt in the avoiding business. And He cares about you very much. In fact, He loves you deeply and is with you through thick and thin. If you are in a season in which His voice seems to be waning, take the time to listen more attentively. If you still cant hear His voice, remember there are times when He chooses to remain silent. That doesnt mean Hes not there or that He doesnt care. Nothing could be further from the truth. Perhaps Hes just waiting to see if you are going to act out of what you already know, what Hes already taught you. If Gods voice isnt clear right now, think back to the last thing you heard Him speak to your heart. Act on that thing. Just keep walking in consistent faith, love and hope. And before long, you will be hearing His voice again... crystal clear.
