Do you ever why when you get your physical or yearly exam that all of a sudden something shows up, blood pressure, cholesterol, inflammation, low Vitamin D, liver enzymes?. The reason is that your body has a threshold, and once that threshold is broken...is when you start to see positive lab results and symptoms show up. You say but Doc, i have not changed anything is the last 30 years, and all of my physical were normal before this one. Remember, the threshold, doing preventative things to improve your health is key, if you are making poor health and poor lifestyle changes year after year, it has to eventually show up.
