Do you feel productive as a Christian? If not, listen to what 2 Peter Chapter one says For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive. The key word here is increasing measure. The Christian life is about growing in your knowledge, faith, and love for God. When you stop growing, then you will quickly become ineffective and unproductive. Its really that simple. The Bible tells us that with much knowledge of God, much is expected of us. So you never arrive. You are always pressing forward to become more like Jesus and less like a sinful human being. When you stop growing, you become like a pond of water that just sits there and grows bacteria and green filth. That water is never suitable for human consumption. God wants us to rest beside him and sip from the river of water of life that only comes from Jesus. So if you have stopped growing, recognize the problem and get it fixed so you can serve God in truth and spirit. A Christian not growing spiritually is not pleasing in the sight of God. Keep moving forward...and never look back...
