His stock are always getting through his poor fences and you wonder what hidden diseases they have. I have just read the latest report of the Australian Senates Rural & Regional Affairs & Transport Reference Committee. This was actually on horticulture and they were concerned about abandoned orchards full of fruit-flies. However their recommendation 5 has the potential to affect all farmers. It suggest that states pass laws to compel landowners to manage their land so they arent a biosecurity risk to their neighbours and the region. What do you think?
