Do you have a bedroom cleaning war going on with your child? If you do, trust me you arent alone. I fight the war myself from time to time. But do the words go clean your room mean the same thing to them as to you? One of my big aha moments (that I have to remind myself of over and over again) is that if I dont actually explain my expectations to my child how are they supposed to know what I want them to do? So, instead of having the bedroom cleaning war I suggest using a bedroom cleaning checklist. Expectations are then clear about what you mean when you say go clean your room. Ive got a FREE printable checklist with both daily and weekly tasks you can use with your child and hopefully both sides can call a cease fire!
