Do you have a personal spiritual story to tell? Like a spiritual - TopicsExpress

Do you have a personal spiritual story to tell? Like a spiritual memoir or inspiring information? Its an amazing time to make these messages a priority. The thing about writing a memoir or sharing your journey is that you never know what its going to really be until its done. And then it has become something else. A different version of the story. A different understanding with more than you realized before you put fingertips to keyboard. You learn more than you ever thought was possible about yourself and then you decide to bravely share it with the world. To inspire and assist and connect through similar experiences, feelings, questions. Its often our vulnerabilities that hold the greatest connection points - and it takes courage to put those out there. The most personal is the most universal. Carl Rogers, psychologist Memoir has always been one of my favorite book genres because I like getting to know people, hearing their experiences, being pulled into their thoughts and emotions and world. Its an amazing invitation into their inner realms. Memoir also has negative stereotypes associated with it. Self-indulgent, narcissistic, self-important. Sure, that can be the case if that is the authors intention. There are a lot of gurus who write memoirs to grow their business, or become more influential, or strategize how they can bring in new clients. Thats a whole different energy. And never mind those opinions. Dont give them attention because they arent the people youre speaking to. Completely doesnt matter at the end of the day. Return to your intention. Return to what you have to SAY. Return to your authentic and openhearted voice, and how you want to help other people on their journey. Thats really where the story is at. I wrote my bestselling spiritual memoir with a lot of clear intention. It was tricky at times to put it all out there, but I realized I didnt want to hold back - thats for weaklings. :) Were in a new era of sharing and connecting and truth-telling - a brave new era of conscious understanding. Your truth matters. Your version matters. Your driving intention matters. My perspective is that life is made up of our stories. Personal stories are everywhere. Personal stories are what we connect with and relate to in each other. We learn our commonalities, our differences, our strengths, our fears. I believe memoir is essential, actually, because its a powerful way to help each other grow and evolve spiritually into fuller versions of ourselves. Facebook is just one giant memoir, is it not? :) Its time for more authentic, openhearted spiritual stories to come out of the wood works. Its time to share your wisdom, experiences, what youve learned. Its time for you to speak up and get it out there. Have you been feeling that urge to write a book? Is the idea or possibility calling to you? Keep it alive and play with it. If you have a spiritual story to tell or a desire to write a book, I can possibly help you. More details will be coming soon through my email list if you want to get on board that train. Just keep the idea of writing a book alive and follow it. It may matter more than you realize now. It may take you exactly where you need to go next and benefit thousands along the way. More soon! Molly Mccord
