Do you hear Gods voice? Where you are today is a function of the decisions you took yesterday and where u will be tomorrow is a function of the decisions you will take today. Will it not be wonderful if you knew the perfect plan of God for your life? It will save you a lot of stress; you will not do some things only to find out later that it wasn’t the right thing. It will save you energy and time. Life is short and limited and so I feel it will be wonderful to know Gods plan and get busy doing them. The fact is, God wants us to know His plans for our life. His plans are not going to be determined now; its been determined already. Eph 1:4 “ even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blemish before him in love” This automatically tells us that he chose us, all plans for our life has been laid out and its within our reach. One and the most trusted way to know these plans is the word. Am sure you have a bible. That is the word of God, God himself; John 1:1 “In the beginning was the word, the word was with God and the word was God” Everything you will ever know about God is in the word. Get down with the word. In it lies your GOOD success. Joshua 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate thereon day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. There are successes, but there is a good success, that’s the one you deserve. There are many ways that looks like the way to your destiny, but there is A way that leads you there. Get down with the word. My sister and my mother have similar voice. An outsider will not be able to distinguish the voice when they speak from inside. But I can, because I have been with them long enough to know their voices. Am sure you have seen men call their animals and they respond. If we can recognize our friends and parents voices and even animals can recognise the voice of their master, how come we so called children of God cant recognise his voice when he speaks to us? Some of us are waiting till the time we want to chose a life partner before we want to hear from him. Funny enough many of us do not find it difficult believing what some one else tells us God said about us cos we feel we are so deaf or too unclean to hear from God ourselves. God longs to speak with you, just like you long to hear the voice of your loved one. If you don’t talk to them for 2days it looks like something is missing in your life. Thats how it is with God and yet we are so comfortable staying months without a word from . Dear friend, the major thing that’s blocks our ear from hearing is sin. ARE YOU BORN AGAIN? That is the simcard that gives connectivity to your phone. Whats the state of your mind? Distraction is another factor. Imagine being in a noisy room, you can’t hear when I wisper to you, That’s how it is. God talks to us and yet our mind is so busy that we can’t hear. Dear friend, you have gone enough on the wrong path. Its time to make it right. Could you take few minutes to ask God to redirect your life? He really wants to have a chat with you now, will you? NIT
