Do you know God or do you know of God? In order to know God you would have to become intimate with him through his Son Jesus Christ by knowing the word of God for yourself. There will come a time in everyone’s life when we will have to approach the Throne of Grace in humility and why should we wait for that day to come to ask to serve the Lord. When the day is available right at this present moment, no other perfect time than now! Right now is the time when we need to think like the old saints, they understood the importance of knowing God and having a personal relationship with him. The old saints were not afraid to stand up in the Sunday Morning Service and testify what a mighty God they served. The old saints were not afraid to stand up in the middle of the congregation, before men and start the testimony off with singing a praise until the Lord….”What A Mighty Friend we Have in Jesus.” They sang the song with much conviction, because they knew the Lord for themselves. They knew God intimately. Just as we ask people who we do not recognize “How do you know me?” Their will come a time in our lives when Jesus will ask us “How Do you Know Me?” The Lord will say Matthew 25 33:40 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
