Do you know any outstanding young writers, poets, lyricists, or spoken word artists? Thanks to an empowering grant from the We Shall Overcome Fund administered by the Highlander Center we are partnering with Foreign Tongues Poetry Troupe to host a free youth writing workshop in June. Participants could earn an opportunity to perform or read their work on the main stage at the Juneteenth Festival on June 21! There is a lot in the works for this years Juneteenth Celebration of Freedom and this is only the beginning! Stay tuned for this years knockout lineup.
