Do you know how thankful I am for you? In the months I have been doing this little party with you, I have raised over $2500 for our adoption fund! It is constantly amazing to me that my cooking & organization could be such a blessing to our efforts... we have suffered a major financial loss this year with the failed adoption, and I honestly do not know what I would have done without this fundraiser to recover that money, as well as help me heal emotionally. With that said, I have thought about this a lot over the past 10 days, and I think I am going to close up shop for the remainder of the year. I know we all have super special things we cook during the holidays, and if you are like me you are eating salad and being good during the rest of the time to prep for the next foodie festival! That paired with my desire to spend every waking moment soaking in the holidays through the eyes of my 2 year old has helped me realize we can get back to it in January.
