Do you know how to tell if your skin is dehydrated? Many people confuse dry and dehydrated skin without realising they are very different! Dry skin as a characteristic of your skin type and will usually feel rough or flakey, whereas dehydration is a skin condition that can come and go and the skin can feel tight and look crepy but can still oily on the surface (epidermis), but is in fact suffering further down in the dermis.
