Do you know only Indian Mohan Das karam Chand Gandhi so called our father of nation crowned as “Kaiser- i- Hind” by Queen Victoria. Kaiser –i-Hind means the faithful subject of the queen under the British crown. It was earned by our father of nation by degrading the dignity of our Nation i.e. by doing GOOLAMI means slavery, flattery etc. Do you know first C.M of West Bengal Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy awarded with BHARAT RATNA during 1961? It was due to he was very obedient to the then P.M of India J.L Nehru. After partition of country, in view of the problems arising out of boundary demarcation and enclaves, both the countries felt it necessary to reach an agreement. The then Prime Minister of India Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru and Mr. Feroze Khan Noon, Prime Minister of Pakistan arrived at an agreement in 1958 which is known as NEHRU-NOON Agreement. This agreement provided among other things for Exchange of enclaves on the basis of enclaves for enclaves without any consideration of territorial loss or gain (9th Amendment of Constitution act, 1960, Article I and Part I of First Schedule). As a result of this agreement Dahagram and Angorpota came to Indian territory. This agreement inter-alia provided for transfer of 11.29 sq. K.Ms of southern half of Berubari Union belong to West Bengal to Pakistan (present Bangladesh) as per interpretation of Radcliffe award. As per our Constitution of India an integrated part of land can be transfer to other country if & only if it would get passed through both house of the Parliament & the respective state legislature assembly where it belongs to. It was passed by both house of the Parliament of India. But at the same time it has to pass by the state legislative assembly of West Bengal. So, Bidhan Roy was forced by Nehru to do it against the interest of the Unity & Integrity & sovereignty of the Nation. Resulting DR. B.C ROY was awarded with BHARAT RATNA during 1961.
