Do you know someone in the industry that deserves recognition? We want to recognize two special people at our upcoming Awards Reception and need your nominations. In 1973, NPFDA began recognizing a NPFDA Member of the Year. This person is chosen based on their leadership and industry involvement. Their contributions to NPFDA may include board involvement, committee involvement, participation in NPFDA functions, etc. These people are also recognized for their civic responsibility, ethics and respect for customers, peers, employees, etc. Beginning in 1991, NPFDA began awarding the Industry Lifetime Achievement Award annually to a poultry industry leader. The selection committee chooses this person based upon his or her years of contributions to the poultry industry. The candidate may be in the processing, distributing or marketing areas of the industry, and must have played a positive role in the growth of the poultry industry. NPFDA is seeking nominations for the 2014 NPFDA Lifetime Achievement Award and 2013 NPFDA Member of the Year.
