Do you know the main problem with Deltas approach to the new HSA - TopicsExpress

Do you know the main problem with Deltas approach to the new HSA health plan push? Theres no unbiased group that focuses on issues like these to COMPLETELY understand the ins and outs of these medical plans. Were on our own to make decisions. Why would the company pay us $50 to watch 13 minutes of film? Thats WAY more than they pay us in hourly wage. Theres no doubt that it creates skepticism, as well it should. Whats in it for the company? We need trained professionals that focus on issues pertaining to our expenditures as employees. Wed feel much more comfortable agreeing to the terms if employee advocate group (such as a union) agreed that switching to a HSA was a good idea for all involved. Its possible that switching to a HSA instead of a HRA is great for both the company and the employee. Maybe it saves both sides a large amount of money. Without an independent unbiased group, we remain skeptical. We need union oversite to explain the benefits and downfalls of each plan. This could save both the company and employee a large amount of money.
