Do you know why the moon is so lonely and disappears at times? She had a lover once. Coyote. They roamed the skys chasing each other happy and carefree. Then, one of the other spirits, Cloud, took a liking to the moon and convinced Coyote that the moon wanted flowers to prove his love for her. The only place to find flowers was on earth outside the spirit realm. But Coyote, having great love for the moon agreed to leave the spirit world and attain the flowers for his love. What Coyote didnt know was that once he left the spirit world there was no returning. So once on earth he had the flowers but could not return to give them to his love. Thats why, when the moon is full you can hear Coyote cry to her, longing to return to the spirit world to be with his love, and why Cloud still tries to separate them at times.
