Do you promise to love her, comfort her, honor and keep her for - TopicsExpress

Do you promise to love her, comfort her, honor and keep her for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and health, and forsaking all others, be faithful only to her, for as long as you both shall live? Our marriage and my husband were challenged and stood strong. For days I didnt remember that I was married and for a couple weeks I didnt know there were children in our marriage equation. I am sure that the confusion, stress and uncertainty that Will traveled through was intense but all I ever felt was his love, protection and warmth. I am told that I was quite pleased when I was informed that he was my husband. I remember him sitting with me in a wheel chair, in the hospital, watching a baseball game on tv and wrapping a warm blanket around me because broken ribs are painful. I remember opening my eyes to him sitting by my tent bed and patiently waiting for me to wake up so he could be the first to say good morning to me. When finally home I remember him checking on each of us around 2am to make sure all was well. I know this because I woke up and wrote every night between 2-3am. I have always felt that Will was an answer to a prayer that I prayed one night in college. The very next day I met him and I knew he was the friend I was seeking. That was over 25 years ago and today we celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary. My husband is my best friend, the best father I could ever envision for our children and, this year, the best care giver imaginable!! I am so blessed! Happy Anniversary @. I love you big, BIG bunches forever and a day!
