Do you remember October 11th 2013? Either do I by the way but it was the last time the thermometer was able to reach the 70 degree mark officially in the Twin Cities. Almost 6 months of sub-70 degree weather, most of it sub-20 degree! Remember the average temperatures for December, January and February was frigid 9 degrees! These are all the reasons why we should soak it in Wednesday and enjoy every minute that we can of it. Like many warmer than average days this early in the season it will come with the caveat of wind! It will be a blustery 70 degree April day as a front approaches from the northwest. Showers and thunderstorms are possible later Wednesday evening after dark around 10pm. Showers will linger into the morning hours Thursday and then clear out midday. Temperatures will be a bit cooler Thursday and Friday with highs in the 60s. A spotty shower is possible Friday, and thunderstorms are likely Saturday! SPRING is in the air that is for sure!
