Do you sacrifice self love in order to love another? It can be truly difficult to feel love for yourself, thats why we often choose the easier option and pour our love into somebody else. It is almost absurd that we can measure the validation of our own existence by the love we give and receive from another. People are inconsistent. They can let us down. Nobody is perfect. Imagine if you chose to fight your inner battles to love yourself, overcame everything to really love and value the person that you are. The results would be life changing. You are consistent. You are guaranteed. You arent perfect but you are always present. You are here and willing to love, so why not love yourself first? Take a chance on assessing your self worth and raise it a little. Raise it a lot. When you recognise your true worth and your true value, you wont accept anything less from anyone else. Remember, you are worth your effort. You are worth your time.
