Do you want more faith in God? You won’t develop it by leaning on what you’ve heard; it comes by what you are “…hearing, and hearing by the Word of God” (Rom 10:17). Too many people are trying to develop their future on what they’ve already heard, but gaining faith is an everyday action of hearing. The only voice your future hears is the voice of your seed. (Mark 4:24-25) Jesus warns us to be careful about what we hear—and this isn’t talking about what you audibly detect with your ears. Jesus is talking about what you understand and grasp with your heart. He’s talking about what measure, or portion, of that understanding you actually do something about.
