The City of Bullhead City has various Commission and Board seats available. - The Board of Adjustment has one vacancy for a partial term which runs through June 30, 2016. The Board of Adjustment hears and decides appeals of actions taken by the Zoning Administrator. There is a residency requirement to serve on the Board of Adjustment. - The Building Board of Appeals has two openings available for partial terms which run through either June 30, 2015 or June 30, 2016. The Building Board of Appeals determines the suitability of alternate materials and methods of construction and to provide reasonable interpretation of the International Building Code. - The Water Resources Advisory Commission has three vacancies for partial terms which run through June 30, 2015 or June 30, 2016. The Water Resources Advisory Commission provides recommendations to the City Council regarding water-related issues such as water acquisition or distribution. - The Municipal Property Corporation has one vacancy for a term which runs through September 30, 2017. The Municipal Property Corporation oversees the bond financing of the cost of construction and improvements to municipal properties and facilities. To be eligible, an applicant should have a general understanding of the issues addressed by the Commission or Board seat they are applying for.
