I would get a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach every time the word was even uttered. id wake up on my off-days hoping to make it through breakfast without hearing it. it rarely ever happened. between my wife, mother-in-law, and their up-line, i felt ear-raped on multiple occasions by the word. it was always plexus-this and plexus-that for what seemed like 24-hours a day. even at work i couldnt get away from it because of the numerous new ambassadors and customers that my wife had there. id often throw my hands up during the middle of visits with my in-laws and exhaustingly ask can we please talk about something else?!?! there were other irritating words, of course: slim, accelerator, bio-cleanse, pro-bio 5, and dr. spencers breast cream - which apparently cured everything from schizophrenia to hemorrhoids with multiple applications. during the peak of my agitation, sara had made her first leadership retreat in san destin and had won the dinner cruise while i got to watch the kids. that night alfred passed-out while on the yacht and was being attended to while my wife texted me an inquiry of exactly what she should do for him? so fed up at the time with hearing plexus-related stuff, i suggested that she rub some breast cream on him... true story. that was two leadership retreats ago... the one where my wife and i won the costume contest as the priest and pregnant nun. now a couple of years and a boat-load of paydays later, the word plexus in the present tense is music to my ears. ill sometimes spontaneously sing it high-pitched while whipping my leg forward and grabbing my crotch à la the late michael jackson. im telling you that its an uncontrollable urge.
