Doctor Who: Domain of the Voord: Domain of the Voord is the series opener for Big Finish’s The Early Adventures range. Written by Andrew Smith and released in September 2014. Featuring the First Doctor, Susan, Ian and Barbara and it is the sequel to The Keys of Marinus, the TV story that first introduced the Voord. William Russell (Ian) and Carole Ann Ford (Susan) reprises their characters as well as stepping in as the First Doctor and Barbara. Solid return of the Voord in this story as the TARDIS crew encountered them on the planet Hydra. The Doctor and Barbara are separated from Ian and Susan with the latter two carrying much of the story. Intriguing the plot point that involved the Doctor’s return to this story. Brilliantly atmospheric to the war situation that was presented here.
