Citrus Heights Police Release Results from August 1st DUI Checkpoint. 820 vehicles were screened between 8 pm and 2 am. Of the 820 vehicles screened, 2 motorists were arrested on suspicion of DUI. While DUI checkpoints have been found legal, there are guidelines that must be adhered to for the checkpoint to be Constitutional, including a determination that the checkpoint be set up in an area that has a high incidence of drunk driving. #dui
