Does Carnegie Hall think that I am a dead composer? Protocol is to - TopicsExpress

Does Carnegie Hall think that I am a dead composer? Protocol is to list both first and last names in the program if the composer is still living. Only when deceased, are first names omitted in formal settings as composer. But while Carnegie Hall lists every other composer who is living both by their first and last name with regards to the upcoming program for a Carnegie Hall performance of the Sphinx Virtuosi, they list only my last name for the closing piece Elevations - like somehow I am grouped in with Mozart, Beethoven and Brahms as last name only composers...? Does anybody have an explanation? (Maybe at least the title of Dr. or something could have been added? Now that would be funny...! ;#]) Program [Carnegie Hall] GABRIELA LENA FRANK Coqueteos from Leyendas: An Andean Walkabout JOHN B HEDGES Prayers of Rain and Wind PERKINSON Sinfonietta No. 1 JESSIE MONTGOMERY Banner!
