Does GEJ has constitutional right to contest 2015? What is the essence of Joint ticket as envisaged under 142 (1) CFRN 1999 (as amended). What is the effect of community reading of sections 135(1) (b) (c) and (d), 136 (1), 143, and 144 CFRN 1999 (as amended). It is my respectful submission on authority of Boni Haruna v INEC, that the validity of election was predicated on joint ticket, hence the Supreme Court held that Boni Haruna as running mate was duly elected when Alhaji Aitku opted for VP without him being sworn as Governor to pave way for constitutional succession of Boni Haruna. The oath of office is mere ritualistic, hence nobody has constitutional power to exceed 8 yrs under any circumstance on the authority of Marwa v Nyako (2012) NWLR (Pt.1296)200. Uncle GEJ cannot validly contest under 1999 Cons (as amended) without crass and violent breach of the Const. No sentiment in Constitutional issues. Nigeria is greater than any PERSON!
