Does God really Love Us? ... Totoo nga bang mahal na mahal tayo ng Diyos? (Read Romans 5:8) Papaano ba natin matitiyak na malaman mahal nga tayo ng Diyos? How do we really know God loves us? Kung mahal niya ako, masasabi mo sa iyong sarili na di siya magpapabaya ay bibigyan ka .. to give you good health and long life, an attractive spouse, beautiful children, a nice house, and job you will enjoy, for which you are well paid.! Are these not reasonable? On the other hand, the Apostle Paul assures us that God demonstrates his own love for us in this: WHILE WE WERE STILL SINNERS, CHRIST DIED for us in Romans 5:8-9 say, But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. And since we have been made right in Gods sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly (kasiguruhan at katiyakan) save us from Gods comdemnation. WHAT PAUL SAYS SEEMS STRANGE TO MANY OF US! Why doent God simply follow our agenda and make us happy? What we ask for, like those described above which does not require a great deal of divine power to accomplish. Why be taken up with this ... SIN ISSUE, as if it really mattered? Its a questioning? The Holy Scriptures says that sin is the heart of the matter for the Bible itself speaks of a world out of sync (walang kaugnayan) with its Maker. The world we live in is a fallen universe. we are sinners and are Gods enemies, deserving pf His judgment. Judgment means separation from His Holy Presence. Death means separation. We are subject to physical death, and when we die the soul separates from the body. If we die without being reconciled to God, we remain separated from Him forever. The Holy Scriptures calls this the second death. We need (kailangan natin) to be reconciled to God. Reconciliation is costly. It requires dealing with the cause of the enmity between God and us. The cause is our sin, our rebellion, our ungratefulness ( walang utang na loob at pagmamalaki), and our idolatry issues that greatly affected our standing to God. God has dealt with sin, and Paul sums it up thus: CHRIST DIED for us. FOR us means .... HE DIED IN our place. We deserve the judgment of death because of our sin. Jesus, the Sinless One, took our place, by dying the death we deserved. (dapat ngalan tayo ang magdusa at tanggapin ang kamatayan dapat ukol sa atin dahil sa kasalanan gawa natin) Paul tells us that CHRIST, who is Gods Son and enjoyed ...UNINTERRUPTED FELLOWSHIP WITH THE FATHER IN ETERNITY PAST became a human being and died the death of a common criminal on the Cross of Calvary....on the cross he cried out, My God, my God, why have You forsaken me? ..... At that moment the sins of the world were laid on Him, and the Fathers face was hid from Him. ... the sins of the Word, including all of yours and all of mine. AMAZING LOVE> WONDERFUL GRACE> WE BOW DOWN in worship and say : LORD JESUS THANK YOU for loving me so much, and dying in my place. ARE you able to say this prayer?
