Does any of you have a Microsoft Surface Pro 3? I recently had to replace my laptop and now work on a desktop computer. But a few times a year, I have to work at a clients office for two or three days, so I still need a portable computer and my laptop is becoming too unreliable. The only software I need there, are MS Word, Déjà Vu X3 and a browser. I thought opting for a Surface Pro 3 would offer me the benefits of a laptop + a tablet computer. I dont own a tablet yet, and I dont really feel the need for it either, but if I have to invest in a laptop I will be using professionally for only ten or fifteen days a year, I thought it might be wise to buy something that combines work and pleasure. So any user experience from colleagues would be welcome, as I would certainly have to be able to use it professionally.
