Does anyone have a Clairinet (spelling?) that Emma can borrow for 6th grade band. She wants to be in band and play this instrument. Apparently it is required that they have to choose between strings?, choir, or band in 6th grade. She is insisting that band is the only thing she wants to do but I have to pay $25 a month to rent an instrument. I feel the if it is one of the requirements they have to pick than the instrument should be free. Just makes me mad that all the HS and Middle School get Ipads given to them but I have to rent an instrument.
