Does anyone here still practice the religion? I mean like still do things that they did when they were a Jehovahs Witness? I dont do certain things that other people do on holidays because of money issues and I find no joy in doing it. The first time I celebrated my birthday I felt awkward. I didnt celebrated for 10 years and finally celebrate my birthday I was like wow I have no feeling of this whatsoever. Although it is true a holiday is like any other day. The Sun will come up and s*** happens. I still avoid satanic/spiritual things because I still feel that if I go anywhere near it, touch it, or even look at it, something bad will happen to me. Im still traumatized of what happened to me as a JW. I wasnt even baptized yet I was programmed to believe that I was one of them. I was doing everything as witness, preaching not celebrating, or flag saluting, holidays all that stuff. My mom used to choke me saying that if I didnt believe in Jehovah he will DESTROY me at the End of the World.
