Does anyone know about the speeding laws in Virginia? I was not paying attention to my speed on the way to Arkansas and I got pulled over for going 86 mph. The officer told me that in Virginia, anything over 80 mph is reckless driving. I filled out the form and sent it in. When I got home letters from 3 lawyers were waiting for me, who wanted to represent me for the ticket. they said that this kind of ticket in Virginia can have devastating consequences. Are they just trying to scare me, or do I really need to engage one of them to represent me? I know I really screwed up, but other than that, does anyone have some good advice for me on how I should proceed on this?
