Does anyone know of a good economic report or paper which describes how a tax on land would decrease prices? Im looking for a report - the more mainstream, the better - to show the uninitiated that a property tax* is not paid by renters, and how cutting the property tax wont help housing affordability. Thanks, * I know that only a land tax cant be passed on, but would prefer a report that talks about the property tax in this way, since people are unfamiliar with the difference between a land and property tax.
