Does anyone know of a good place to have a long hair cat trimmed? I took mine to PETCO next to Staples in Avon and they butchered her. She now has sections of long fur along her sides hanging down here and there. One part of her belly they shaved her right down to the skin. It was on one side and only one part. They were supposed to trim her butt area so it would not hold anything from the litter box. They trimmed a little around her butt hole and left all the long fur on the back of her thighs. What good was that going to do? Then, I was watching how they handled her. One of them had her by the scruff of the neck, which I understand, but she brutally flipped her over like she was a piece of meat on a grille. She actually got her up off the table when doing that and then just flopped her down. I saw my cats face. She was terrified. I dont care how far I have to go as long as it is somewhere else. They are supposedly licensed and trained to do this. Trained where? In some other universe? Please let me know if you have taken your cat somewhere and were please with the service. PETCO was a horror show. Dont ever put your cat through that trauma in that place.
