Does anyone know why Thai iced tea that you can get at any Thai restaurant has that distinct orange color? Anyone? No? Ill tell ya. FD&C yellow #6 All you need to make some Thai iced tea yourself is some strong brewed black tea, preferably Assam, but any regular black tea will do, some cinnamon, star anise, cardamom, vanilla, sugar and either some half and half or milk. I dont really like cardamom, so I usually leave that out.
