Does anyone remember Esther Resleff Sutton? Im a long lost former Warner Southern-er! It was my privilege to start at Warner with Dr. Leslie Ratzlaff in July 1967! I worked as Dr. Ratzlaffs secretary in the little barber shop at the entrance to the property (right off Hwy 27) before the start of the college. I moved to Lake Wales from Jacksonville, FL with my two small children, Ed and Denise Resleff, and really began the college with Dr. Ratzlaff and Mrs. Nina Ratzlaff. What a time! I was there when the first 7 students graduated. I was there when the Raines Building was built... For the Glory of God through Faith and Faithfulness! I was there when I met and married Billy Sutton in 1972. We moved away from Lake Wales in 1974 because of Bills inability to find work at that time, and moved back to Jacksonville. Bill and I moved with State Farm to Georgia in 1998, and have enjoyed it very much. It did not give us much opportunity to get back to WSC, but my heart has always been there! It was a God-thing to meet up with Jan Robillard last August when we visited the college riding around through the homes. I had not seen her for years, and God blessed me to see her that day! What a treat! Bill went home to be with the Lord on January 2, 2011, and I am continuing to work at State Farm (almost 20 years) in the Regional Office in Duluth. Denise and her husband and family live here also, so Im not totally alone! These posts have been a joy to read.....Im not a FB whiz and really didnt know these existed! Good to catch a glimpse of many of the sweet people I knew. What a treat! If anyone remembers me, I would surely like to hear from some of you!
