Does anyone remember at winters end i came home to discover my chickens had been slaughtered by two dogs that were being walked in our back yard not on leashes(one German Shepard one husky)... well i called animal control and never heard back- luckily we found the culprits and they came forward and tried to make it right and my new baby chickens are now 4 months old... This month i am chicken sitting for my friend Cynthia whom happens to be neighbors with the dog that attacked my chickens and guess who attacked her chickens...now mind you our chickens are and have always been in a fenced in yard not FREE RANGING... I lost 10 chickens and now Cynthia lost 5 from the same German Shepard that is not on a leash obviously and gets in our fenced in chicken yards....is im sorry and some money enough ? Our chickens are our pets same as your cat and dog..what would you do?
