Does anyone remember the Christmas Eve Blizzard of 1966? My sister Paulette was dating a wonderful man- Nat Goodman (later to become her husband) whod come over to our home at 103 Henley Road in Penn Wynne (remember when they called it that?) and I believe my sister Connie also had a boyfriend over for the holiday feast (for which my aging Italian grandmother and my regular Italian mother cooked up a storm- homemade pasta, etc.). At any rate, the snow started falling early... and by the time we later looked outside- there was well over a foot on the ground! Travel was out of the question, so we got up the next morning to see over two feet of freshly fallen powder around our neighborhood. The two boyfriends got shipwrecked with us, but it was enjoyable!!
