Does it get better than this? Third World Man is one of those tracks I want to be played when I pass to the next world. It was part of the last Steely Dan LP, Gaucho, before their long career hiatus. When released, in 1980, I was fancy free trying to get a career under way in retail. I was working for C & A Modes in the centre of Birmingham having a great time, working hard & playing hard.
