Does it matter after all?........................She got ill A chef preparing a delicacy, what does it seem, definitely he has a passion for cooking, but will it not be a prejudgement to say he is in love with his daily expertise. He can make a prawn dish with such artistry that the host scoffs the plate clean, and all through the cooking the chef claimed that he was eyes closed. Whereas, a man who just somehow knew to prepare a readymade noodle for himself; walks into the kitchen to cook something for his bedridden friend. The next few hours the cook and the kitchen scuffled together. The cat scooted into the bed of the house lady and lay there still, by the pillow infront of her face. When the clattering noise spooked the lady out of sleep she found the cat by her side. She was gazing at the cat relying on her intuition to comprehend what has happened. With big glaring eyes and twitched up ears, the pussy tried to show extreme concern about the noise which disturbed them both. The pussy purred alluding to the mistress that it wasn’t her this time. And the lady was too weak to find out what was going on in the house. Much later he entered the room holding a tray with shaky hands, for he has cut his finger, he couldn’t find a bandage, instead got it tightly draped with a stripe which seemed red now, torn from an all white hanky. The cat looked around from the invisible witness stand on the bed where it was lying. It was giving a scornful look to him for putting it there to prove its innocence in kitchen fiasco. The lady was happy to see the unskilful effort he brought into the plate and ate slowly out of weakness, praising when he showed concern about the taste. He wasn’t sure about the quantity of salt to put in so he went for the amount ‘little’, which turned out to be too little but she claimed, the taste to be perfect for her sour tongue. Besieging the moment when the two were busy eating, the cat sidled out of the room with a wry smile. When he complained that she was prejudiced confirming the worst to be the best breakfast she ever had. She replied ‘’If anyone asks me which is my favourite restaurant, I can give him a number of names with particulars about the delicacies they serve. But if they ask me to give one such taste which touched my soul, I couldn’t have told until now.’
