Does my bum look too big? Kenyan women are going to great lengths to make themselves beautiful. Many of them are now eating chicken feed that is meant to enhance the growth of commercial reared chicken (known as broilers). The chicken feeds for broilers have hormones that make them grown very fast and are ready for sale in less than two months. Kenyan women are eating the hormone laced chicken feed in the hope that it will increase the size of their breasts and the bum. Others are injecting the same chicken hormones in body parts which they want to grow bigger. Experts have warned that women who use such crude methods to gain a ‘better’ shape risk having severe complications sooner or later. Although there have been reported outbreaks of women putting their head under their arm and falling asleep whilst others have been found scratching at the ground and peering as if looking for something. In Kenya, as in many parts of Africa, there is a reverence given to women who have large gluteus maximus’s. It’s a national pastime endorsed by the women themselves with all sorts of weird diets and concoctions being promoted. So if you are ever asked by a Kenyan women “Does my bum look big in this” the greatest compliment you can ever give her is ”its huge, bigger than an elephants backside”. She will love you forever.
