Does the Bible say that God will provide all our wants if we are obedient to Him? NO! NO! NO! This is not a concept from God. It comes from the enemy of our souls. Here is how it works. Gods love is unconditional, period. Nothing you do or do not do can change that. On the other hand, His blessings are completely conditional on us obeying Him. This is where it gets tricky. We may think that His blessings will mean giving you what you want. Certainly, God can do that but He never, ever promises that. He does promise to provide for your needs. The Bible tells us that needs are food, clothing, and shelter. Nothing more. So the next time you get mad at God because He did not do what you wanted, remember the Psalm that says The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not be in want.
