Does the MPAA really believe this is going to do anything? I predict a massive jump in TV and movie sharing in the near future. Why do they expect anyone to pay ridiculous monthly cable fees AND be subjected to irritating commercials? There are so many middle-men and monopolies in the TV/movie business that the viewer ends up paying grossly inflated prices for content that (IMO at least) is mostly junk. I wonder if crowd funding could work some how for music, TV, and movies?
