Does thing changes or have we been accustom to them. We are in a constant reminder of world affairs and past history. I come to realize every year in February (Black History) that as a race, we are reminded of the past, as if no process had been made or there had been no other voice of the people, than Rev Jackson or Sharpton.but this is not a question about a race of people, but a society of people. I seen changed in how we communicate ( technically) but I feel we are less free, then before. I remember at the age of 6yrs, I could walk to school and play outside throughout the neighborhood until the street lights came on, but todays world, I see teenagers being driving to school by parents and the neighborhood is quiet without a child playing and if your child is outside playing, you get complaints, they are making too much noise. Homes are equipped with bells, bars and buzzers to allow access and family meals are in a box or serve on a tray. The youth moves as gangs and not friends. You can assume, these are changes, but it appear we had only become accustom to the way the world is. We had glorified the prison life style and the need to be hard or we failed to raise a generation of leaders and instead form gangs. When you think about the hottest game played by todays youth are about War and Gangs. Their friends are called Posses. Parents are often working over time to be able to purchase things for their teenage child and you hear in the news daily about some high school youth cannot deal with the demand of education and decide to stage an attack. Have we changed or become a accustom?
