If you followed the instructions above, you not only failed the test, you receive a big goose egg. So now what do you think of your accurate, easy-to-understand, up-to-date Bible? If you would like to improve your score, and in fact score 100%, you can take this test using the Authorized (King James) Bible. NIV Reader: Do you have enough confidence in the NIV to...tell God, OUT LOUD, that the NIV is correct in deleting these words and phrases? If not, you need to get a King James Bible so you can have some confidence. Find more here jesus-is-savior/Bible/NIV/niv_deletes_verses.htm - Every new version aside form the AV 1611 KJV, is taken from the Alexandrian manuscripts (Catholic). Thats right, your ESV, NIV, RSV all other 250 plus bibles, use the same text as the Jehovah Witness bible. Thats a scary thought isnt it? That your bible is most likely missing a very key and important verse like 1 John 5:7! I John 5:7 -- Vitally important phrase COMPLETELY removed [also deleted from the Jehovahs Witness Bible]. In the NIV it says, For there are three that testify: Compare the NIV reading with the following Jehovahs Witness reading-- For there are three witness bearers, What are you NIV readers missing? What does the real Bible say? For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. This is one of the GREATEST verses testifying of the Godhead. That is why the Jehovahs Witnesses leave it out. They do not believe in the Godhead and they do not believe that Jesus is God. Why does the NIV leave it out...? Whole books have been written on the manuscript evidence that supports inclusion of this verse in the Bible. Reader, do you believe in the Godhead? If so, then this deletion should offend you. If you want a pure word of God, and a bible that has NO footnote, may I suggest this bible publisher. localchurchbiblepublishers/category/bibles/large-size/ God has preserved His words perfectly and without error in the English, and they can be found in AV 1611 KJV. From the publisher I have mentioned here localchurchbiblepublishers/category/bibles/large-size/. Not ALL KJV are the same. Men have changed them recently, so they can make a buck off of them. By changing thee very words of God, they can copyright the word of God (oxy moron), and make money off of it. So please, Check out the bible issue please, and going to your pastor will NOT be the place you want to go to unfortunately :( If he wanted to let you know, he would HAD already done so. Acts 17:10-11 ~ And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. Another important verse that only the KJB has correct. The word study is removed from ALL other versions. Who wouldnt want you to study the word of God..........??? 2 Timothy 2:15 ~ STUDY to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
