Doesnt matter if you dont live in Providence or if you stay away from Providence; youre still gonna pay for all the violence thats going on. Either on the front end by investing in programs and services that actually help prevent the issues that we are facing, or on the back end, and probably 3 or 4 times the cost of preventive measures, when we need more police to work more hours or when those Providence people get imprisoned after the violence is committed... either way youre gonna pay. So lets do the financially sound thing, and invest those tax dollars into the strategy that gives the best return on investment. Because either way, before of after, youre gonna pay.
