Doesnt matter what ever you do, be it laundry work, cooking, washing dishes or vacuuming the floor. As long as its for Allah then, its alright, as long as you do the work, seeking His Blessings. When the wifes working and you know shes too tired to do all the house chores, if you can help out then help out. My dad used to say when I was a bachelor, If you dont help out in the kitchen then who will? Abah paling pantang orang duduk goyang kaki memerintah. Translation, It gets on my nerves those that just shake their legs while giving orders. Who cares if its degrading for men to do this job. I dont know what you call it. househusband? Work is worship, Allah says. The Prophet, if he can do the thing himself, he will do it himself. Free time i get to play 8ball pool, sing while strumming the guitar or carry-yokay, [karaoke]. I get to make my own interior design, create or invent my own self-designed furniture, even though I dont have a diploma of Interior Design. the word is co-operation. A family runs like a car, Im the oil that lubricates its smooth journey. Its a dirty job, but sumbody gotta do it. My mom dont understand, she said, tapi lelaki nak kena cari nafkah, Translation, but men have to be the financial support, true, whatever little money I earn, I give.Performances payout etcs, governments money GST? or whatever, sumtimes people give me money which I have never asked, but I dont want to hurt peoples feelings, so must accept, whatever $ i get, its not my money to begin with.I dont spend much just ciggies, and I prefer to cook then buying a meal,sumtimes. Alhamdulillah, the money that we spend & save at the same time on tools on plywoods to create our own furniture, well its worth it.Cause my motto is its not how much you earn but how much you spend.In the hereafter Allah will not judge me from my $ earnings but how much I giveand my good doings. I got alot of offers to do D.I.Y. furniture but we need space to allocate a workshop right now. And when I do, I still need to make the table for the balcony, kitchen cabinets, under the bed storage, closet room cum store. So to those who ordered, Im so sorry.My kids & wife goes over to their grandparents for visits, wish I could tag myself along sumtimes, but work just never ends here, too much to do and so little time. I appreciate visits from my mom-in-law too.Only wish my father in law would come here like he used too, the only time he came was when he sat on the floor when there wasnt any furniture.Hes partially blind & likes to go out on Sundays,only I wished he would visit my place and appreciate my hand-made sofas even just once.Marriage, life is a bliss from Allah, if not for the support from my family, well family comes after marriage but before that I still do remember and appreciate the support and blessings that my mother and father, my mother in law and my father in law, gave, without their blessingsl, I wouldnt be here, today.
