Doesnt mention the dozens of common malfunctions that require tools to fix with revolvers, or the fact that speculation and personal anecdote aside, per rounds fired, semi autos are far more reliable than revolvers. In 1911, the US Army adopted the auto loading design submitted by John Browning because it was more reliable, not because of its greater rate of fire (the US military didnt believe in such things at the time). In effect, this article mostly mentions and perpetuates all of the myths that keep people believing that revolvers are in any way a good idea. They arent even cheaper. To get a revolver that you can depend upon for defensive use, you will be dropping enough money to buy a full size SIG P226 or better. Even quality snub nose revolvers run as much as full size Glocks. Can we get past this, please?
