Dog paws!! We have had nothing but dog paw problems this week. First it was Basha, limping around on three paws, holding her front left up. Couldnt see anything wrong ourselves, so took her to the vet. It seems there was a bit of dry mud or something between two of her toes and it was acting like a stone in our shoe would, irritating her skin and making it sore. It took three of us to hold her down for the vet to even get near her, but he cut the muddy fur out and shes fine now. But the day after that, Allie started limping and avidly licking her right front paw. Wasp sting it turned out. Shes much better now. But then Thursday we learned Leighs dog , Maggie, was limping this week too and the vet found she’d damaged her pinky toe. When I told Terri about it her response was a “Oh no…It’s a paw-saster!” Groan. That gal and her jokes...and she makes them and then laughs herself silly over them. Sometimes, I just have to shake my head and wonder.
