Dogs Trust were delighted to be invited to speak as part of an expert panel at the Animal Welfare Conference in Dublin Castle today, hosted by Minister Simon Coveney. Heres our Executive Director Mark Beazley addressing the attendees earlier this morning. Dogs Trust are delighted to have been part of a group of welfare organisations who successfully lobbied for the new Animal Health and Welfare Act, which was signed into effect on March 7th this year. The implications of the Act are being discussed today and we look forward to the improvement of standards for all animals in Ireland going forward.
